The work Lychee by Rong Shushi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 17,700.00 (€ 1,895.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rong Shushi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lychee, which sold at auction in February this year for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,542.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lychee von Rong Shushi kam im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 17.700,00 (€ 1.895,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Für andere Arbeiten von Rong Shushi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lychee beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.542,28) versteigert wurde.
