In December last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Hunter by Ronald Ventura. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 332,183.96), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ronald Ventura have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Party Animal in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 19,450,000.00 (€ 2,056,015.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hunter von Ronald Ventura zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 332.183,96) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Ventura auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Party Animal im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.450.000,00 (€ 2.056.015,25).
