Auction result well in line with expectations
The work His Case by Ronald Ventura was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in November 2021. The price achieved of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 77,054.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ronald Ventura achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Party Animal in May 2021 with an auction result of HKD 19,450,000.00 (€ 2,056,015.25).

Die Arbeit His Case von Ronald Ventura wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 77.054,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ronald Ventura erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Party Animal im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 19.450.000,00 (€ 2.056.015,25).
