Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Killfrog'S Sugar Smack, 2020 by Ron English was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. The price achieved of EUR 573.75 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ron English achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Slash 'n Friends (Album Cover) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 92,500.00 (€ 64,343.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Killfrog'S Sugar Smack, 2020 von Ron English kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 573,75 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ron English erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Slash 'n Friends (Album Cover) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 64.343,35).
