Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Still Life With Mandoline by Romeo Tabuena was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,752.08). Admittedly, works by Romeo Tabuena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Beggars in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Still Life With Mandoline von Romeo Tabuena wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.752,08) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Romeo Tabuena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Beggars im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38).
