Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Still Life with Basket by Romeo Tabuena. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,799.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 45,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Romeo Tabuena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Beggars in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life with Basket von Romeo Tabuena zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.799,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 45.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Romeo Tabuena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Beggars im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38).
