It achieved a price of AUD 3,444.00 (€ 2,240.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roland Shakespeare Wakelin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Street Scene, Mosman in May 2001 with an auction result of AUD 64,625.00 (€ 38,736.78).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 3.444,00 (€ 2.240,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roland Shakespeare Wakelin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Street Scene, Mosman im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 64.625,00 (€ 38.736,78).
