Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Golder'S Green, London by Roland Shakespeare Wakelin was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2007. The price achieved of AUD 2,640.00 (€ 1,578.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roland Shakespeare Wakelin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Street Scene, Mosman in May 2001 with an auction result of AUD 64,625.00 (€ 38,736.78).

Die Arbeit Australian Golder'S Green, London von Roland Shakespeare Wakelin kam im August 2007 bei Sothebys in Melbourne zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 2.640,00 (€ 1.578,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden.
