Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roland Oudot could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Living with Art auction, the work Nature morte changed hands for USD 625.00 (€ 570.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roland Oudot achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage d'Arcadie in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roland Oudot konnte im Oktober 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Living with Art wechselte die Arbeit Nature morte für USD 625,00 (€ 570,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roland Oudot erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage d'Arcadie im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
