In June 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Interiors, which included the work Nature Morte Aux Citrons by Roland Oudot. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,537.28) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roland Oudot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Paysage d'Arcadie in May 2004 with an auction result of EUR 12,925.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nature Morte Aux Citrons von Roland Oudot zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.537,28) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roland Oudot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Paysage d'Arcadie im Mai 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.925,00.
