Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roi Clarkson Coleman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in February this year. In the Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer auction, the work Nocturnal Coast sold for USD 3,187.50 (€ 3,006.51) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roi Clarkson Coleman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Sea Symphony sold at auction in May 2001 with the realized price of USD 3,760.00 (€ 4,447.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roi Clarkson Coleman erzielte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Coast to Coast | Live OnlineAmerican Art, including The Collection of Gail Feingarten Oppenheimer wurde die Arbeit Nocturnal Coast für USD 3.187,50 (€ 3.006,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roi Clarkson Coleman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Sea Symphony im Mai 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 3.760,00 (€ 4.447,07).
