A top price for Roger Selden - as previously expected
This work without title by Roger Selden was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2016. The price achieved of USD 8,750.00 (€ 8,051.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Roger Selden that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 8.051,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Roger Selden, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
