Sold at the lower estimate price
In February 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Study For The Painting The White Tree by Roger Medearis. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,529.17) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Medearis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Big Rock Candy Mountains in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,604.22).
