Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roger Medearis could be acquired at Christies in New York in April 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Gray Day changed hands for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,044.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Medearis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Big Rock Candy Mountains in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,604.22).
