Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Sketch For Shocks Of Corn by Roger Medearis for USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,338.02). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Medearis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In The Big Rock Candy Mountains in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,604.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sketch For Shocks Of Corn von Roger Medearis für USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.338,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Medearis erzielen.
