In November 2001 Christies in Melbourne held the auction AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS, which included the work Geometric Progression by Roger Kemp. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 42,300.00 (€ 24,568.75), 41% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roger Kemp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Australian Abstract Structure, which sold at auction in April 2008 for AUD 114,000.00 (€ 68,972.64).

Im November 2001 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion AUSTRALIAN & INTERNATIONAL PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geometric Progression von Roger Kemp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 42.300,00 (€ 24.568,75) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Roger Kemp mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Australian Abstract Structure beobachtet, die im April 2008 für AUD 114.000,00 (€ 68.972,64) versteigert wurde.
