Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Various Images From 'Photographic Art Treasures', Part I, December 1956 by Roger Fenton was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2013. The result of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,772.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Fenton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death' in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 100,847.89).
