Upper estimate price exceeded by 53 %.
In March 2012 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Ville, 1986 by Roger Edgar Gillet. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,223.00 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Edgar Gillet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,345.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ville, 1986 von Roger Edgar Gillet zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.223,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Edgar Gillet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.345,00.
