Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roger Edgar Gillet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2019. In the 20th Century Art 1950 to present auction, the work Portrait - 1992 sold for EUR 3,640.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Edgar Gillet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,345.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roger Edgar Gillet erzielte im März 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century Art 1950 to present wurde die Arbeit Portrait - 1992 für EUR 3.640,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Edgar Gillet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.345,00.
