Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roger Edgar Gillet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.345,00.
