Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2013 Artcurial held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans Titre, 1985 by Roger Edgar Gillet. The price achieved of EUR 1,287.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Edgar Gillet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,345.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2013 führte Artcurial die Auktion Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1985 von Roger Edgar Gillet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.287,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Edgar Gillet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 im Oktober 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 51.345,00.
