Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1961 by Roger Edgar Gillet was auctioned at Artcurial in March 2013. The price achieved of EUR 1,158.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Edgar Gillet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Une Soiree Chez Pollac, 1968 in October 2011 with an auction result of EUR 51,345.00.

Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1961 von Roger Edgar Gillet kam im März 2013 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.158,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Edgar Gillet erzielen.
