Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Selected Images by Roger Ballen was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,576.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Roger Ballen have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2015 the work Dresie Et Casie, Twins, Western Transvaal, 1993 was auctioned for EUR 12,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Selected Images von Roger Ballen kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.576,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Roger Ballen konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2015 die Arbeit Dresie Et Casie, Twins, Western Transvaal, 1993 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert.
