A top price for Rodolphe Toepffer - as previously expected
In May 2013 Christies in Zurich held the auction Swiss Art, which included the work Des arts et le boulanger by Rodolphe Toepffer. The price achieved of CHF 3,600.00 (€ 2,892.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Des arts et le boulanger is the most expensive artwork by Rodolphe Toepffer that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in Zürich die Auktion Swiss Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Des arts et le boulanger von Rodolphe Toepffer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 3.600,00 (€ 2.892,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Des arts et le boulanger das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rodolphe Toepffer, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
