Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Experiment In Depth by Rodney Armour Milgate was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 2,390.00 (€ 1,392.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Rodney Armour Milgate have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May last year the work Mural-Topia, 1970-74 was auctioned for AUD 1,845.00 (€ 1,719.32).
