Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Now from the Sixth Hour by Rodney Armour Milgate was sold in the Elegant InteriorsA Single Collection auction at Bonhams in December last year. The price achieved of AUD 738.00 (€ 469.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rodney Armour Milgate - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mural-Topia, 1970-74, which sold at auction in May last year for AUD 1,845.00 (€ 1,719.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Now from the Sixth Hour von Rodney Armour Milgate wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Elegant InteriorsA Single Collection bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 738,00 (€ 469,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 600,00 – 800,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rodney Armour Milgate mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mural-Topia, 1970-74 beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für AUD 1.845,00 (€ 1.719,32) versteigert wurde.
