Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Modern & Post-War British Art Day Sale, which included the work Red Beat I by Robyn Denny. The price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,914.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robyn Denny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Austin Reed Mural in October this year with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 405,112.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Beat I von Robyn Denny zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.914,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robyn Denny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Austin Reed Mural im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 405.112,41).
