Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British & Irish Art, which included the work Sweet Nature I by Robyn Denny. The price achieved of GBP 23,040.00 (€ 26,814.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robyn Denny achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Austin Reed Mural in October this year with an auction result of GBP 352,800.00 (€ 405,112.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British & Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sweet Nature I von Robyn Denny zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.040,00 (€ 26.814,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robyn Denny erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Austin Reed Mural im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 352.800,00 (€ 405.112,41).
