Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Rintik by Roby Dwi Antono. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 37,270.83). Admittedly, works by Roby Dwi Antono have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Asih in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 299,178.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rintik von Roby Dwi Antono zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 37.270,83) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Roby Dwi Antono auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Asih im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 299.178,08).
