A top price for Robin Treffgarne - as previously expected
In June 2002 Christies in London held the auction Twentieth Century British Art, which included the work Rocks & Water-Reflections by Robin Treffgarne. The price achieved of GBP 587.50 (€ 908.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Rocks & Water-Reflections is the most expensive artwork by Robin Treffgarne that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion Twentieth Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rocks & Water-Reflections von Robin Treffgarne zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 587,50 (€ 908,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Rocks & Water-Reflections das teuerste Kunstwerk von Robin Treffgarne, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
