Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robin F. Williams could be acquired at Phillips in London in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Earth Prayer changed hands for GBP 318.00 (€ 371.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robin F. Williams achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ice Queen in May this year with an auction result of USD 428,400.00 (€ 402,102.50).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robin F. Williams konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Earth Prayer für GBP 318,00 (€ 371,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robin F. Williams erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ice Queen im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 428.400,00 (€ 402.102,50).
