Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Roberta Silva achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2009. In the Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale auction, the work A Blow is Enough sold for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,093.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Roberta Silva; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Basta Un Soffio sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,013.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva erzielte im Februar 2009 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary ArtDay Sale wurde die Arbeit A Blow is Enough für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.093,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Roberta Silva; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Basta Un Soffio im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.013,64).
