This price was achieved in the auction British & Continental Watercolours including Original Book at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Stewart Sherriffs - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work ‘Winston Churchill: “How Absurd!
