Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Nun in the Corner by Robert Vickrey was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in Paris in May this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,584.00 (€ 3,363.99), 19% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Vickrey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Green Thought in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 35,312.50 (€ 28,958.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Nun in the Corner von Robert Vickrey wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.584,00 (€ 3.363,99) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Vickrey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Green Thought im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.312,50 (€ 28.958,91).
