Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Photographs, which included the work 2732 Orleans Avenue, New Orleans, LA, 2005 by Robert Polidori. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,984.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Polidori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Car, 1997 in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 55,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2732 Orleans Avenue, New Orleans, LA, 2005 von Robert Polidori zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.984,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Polidori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Car, 1997 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 55.500,00.
