Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Salon des glaces, Grand Trianon, Château de Versailles, 1988 by Robert Polidori was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Hong Kong in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 13,860.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Polidori have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green Car, 1997 in November 2013 with an auction result of EUR 55,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Salon des glaces, Grand Trianon, Château de Versailles, 1988 von Robert Polidori wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.860,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Polidori auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green Car, 1997 im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 55.500,00.
