In December last year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work SON OF GODZILLA by Robert Nava. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 45,360.00 (€ 51,207.02), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Nava achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before Minotaur in October last year with an auction result of GBP 639,600.00 (€ 745,126.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Dezember letzten Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit SON OF GODZILLA von Robert Nava zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 45.360,00 (€ 51.207,02) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Nava erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Before Minotaur im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.600,00 (€ 745.126,92).
