Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Red and The Black by Robert Moskowitz was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in New York in April 2012. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,417.34) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Moskowitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in March 2020 with an auction result of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,068.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Red and The Black von Robert Moskowitz wurde im April 2012 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.417,34) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Moskowitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.068,27).
