Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Labyrinth Of The Minotaur by Robert Medley was auctioned at Sothebys in Olympia in September 2006. It achieved a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,497.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Medley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red and green figuration, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67).

Die Arbeit Labyrinth Of The Minotaur von Robert Medley kam im September 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.497,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Medley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red and green figuration beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.280,67) versteigert wurde.
