In October 2013 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Farm Buildings, Bainbridge (Recto); Half-Length Study Of A Girl (Verso) by Robert Medley. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,363.98), 33% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Medley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red and green figuration in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 25,280.67).

Im Oktober 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Farm Buildings, Bainbridge (Recto); Half-Length Study Of A Girl (Verso) von Robert Medley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.363,98) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Medley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Red and green figuration im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 25.280,67).
