Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait Présumé De La Comtesse De Mercey En Robe Rouge Dans Un Paysage by Robert Lefèvre was auctioned at Artcurial in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lefèvre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Emperor Napoleon (1769-1821), half-length, as Colonel of the Foot Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard, wearing the cross and Grand Eagle of the Légion d'Honneur, in a painted oval in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 150,556.45).

Die Arbeit Portrait Présumé De La Comtesse De Mercey En Robe Rouge Dans Un Paysage von Robert Lefèvre kam im November 2016 bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Lefèvre erzielen.
