Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait D'Une Femme Avec Ses Deux Enfants Dans Un Paysage by Robert Lefèvre was auctioned at Artcurial in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Lefèvre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Emperor Napoleon (1769-1821), half-length, as Colonel of the Foot Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard, wearing the cross and Grand Eagle of the Légion d'Honneur, in a painted oval in May 2014 with an auction result of GBP 122,500.00 (€ 150,556.45).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
