Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES, which included the work A milkmaid in a meadow by Robert Jobling. The price achieved of GBP 3,525.00 (€ 5,060.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Jobling - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sea Music, which sold at auction in June 2006 for GBP 10,200.00 (€ 14,759.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion BRITISH AND VICTORIAN PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit A milkmaid in a meadow von Robert Jobling zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.525,00 (€ 5.060,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Jobling mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sea Music beobachtet, die im Juni 2006 für GBP 10.200,00 (€ 14.759,23) versteigert wurde.
