Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Hills could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Watercolours auction, the work A Windmill And Houses At Flengatt On The Road Between Brussels And Waterloo changed hands for GBP 47.80 (€ 69.64) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Hills achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Herd of Deer Resting In A Glade in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,346.11).
