Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pegeen by Robert Henri was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 277,200.00 (€ 227,324.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Henri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mary Agnes in December 2009 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,073,471.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pegeen von Robert Henri kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 277.200,00 (€ 227.324,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Henri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mary Agnes im Dezember 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.538.500,00 (€ 1.073.471,95).
