Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In the Forest by Robert Henri was sold in the American Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The price achieved of USD 15,360.00 (€ 14,081.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Henri achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Mary Agnes in December 2009 with an auction result of USD 1,538,500.00 (€ 1,073,471.95).
