Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Moca Torso, 1992-95 by Robert Graham was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,753.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Moca Torso, 1992-95 von Robert Graham wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.753,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Graham erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 390.000,00 (€ 289.898,16).
