Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Street in Chinatown, San Francisco, New Years by Robert Frederick Blum. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,840.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Frederick Blum achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venetian Gondoliers in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,142,500.00 (€ 924,053.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Street in Chinatown, San Francisco, New Years von Robert Frederick Blum zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.840,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Frederick Blum erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venetian Gondoliers im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.142.500,00 (€ 924.053,70).
