Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2019 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Online, which included the work Leeds: A New Card Game by Robert Filliou. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,410.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Filliou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Principe D'Équivalence, Création Permanente - Red Sock In Yellow Box I, Ii, Iii in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02).
