The price achieved of EUR 2,580.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Filliou achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Principe D'Équivalence, Création Permanente - Red Sock In Yellow Box I, Ii, Iii in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 100,688.02).

Die Arbeit Optimistic Boxes No. 1-5. von Robert Filliou kam im Februar 2021 bei VAN HAM in Köln zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.580,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Filliou erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Principe D'Équivalence, Création Permanente - Red Sock In Yellow Box I, Ii, Iii im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 100.688,02).
